The end result from the cryogenic process is a high quality frozen bead that can be used in variety of food or non-food products. The cryogenic freezing process use liquid nitrogen to freeze the material as it is dispensed. Liquid nitrogen is -209 Celsius and once the material hits the liquid nitrogen it freezes. This flash freezing process reduces ice crystallization and gives the product a bead like shape This bead can then be used in a variety of different applications from lotions, food applications, inclusions, pharmaceutical delivery systems and so on.
When it come to protecting your meat, medicines, vaccines or other temperature sensitive items colder is better. At -40C/F you minimize the temperature range a standard chest freezer (-10F) will go through during a typical defrost cycle. With a DD Cryogenics- -40C/F to -86C/-122F chest freezer you will not run the risk of moisture forming ice crystals on your sensitive products.
